Holiday in Corvara, Alta Badia: the pleasure of a holiday in the Dolomites
Corvara is a town with about 800 inhabitants, 1565m above sea level, which for the past several years, has been one of the most popular tourist destinations for those who love to spend their holidays in the Dolomites. The town is particularly striking thanks to its beautiful walkways and picturesque scenery, both in summer and winter, when the mountain peaks are tinged with white, creating breath-taking panoramic views. Corvara is situated exactly in the heart of the Dolomites, which in June 2009 was recognised by UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage Site.
Corvara in winter
In winter, Corvara and Alta Badia have the best of everything mountain and ski lovers could ask for. Here, just waiting for you, there are over 130km of meticulously prepared, snow-covered slopes, suitable for all levels and abilities. Of all the modern ski resorts in the region, such as the "Dolomiti Superski" area, the "Sellaronda" particularly stands out, offering a series of ski lifts that are all linked together around the enormous Sella-Massif.
